    I'd like to add that while we were working on that new project that BitFenix was very fair. They agreed that everything would be open source for a start. They also agreed that the USB protocol could be documented (i.e. open source). That things didn't work out is dissapointing but I'm sure that the people at BitFenix that we worked with were just as dissapointed as us.

    Matteo, I don't know where you heard that but it's untrue. Yes, we were working with BitFenix on a project that didn't eventuate but BitFenix and all others involved behaved appropriately and professionally. BitFenix was a pleasure to work with and I'd do so again. Yes, it was dissapointing that the project didn't eventuate but it was ambitious and sometimes when you take on something so ambitious (mainly from a hardware point of view) they don't work out.
