Ummm... I'm not sure I've understood correctly. I think the problem comes when using the "Apply level styles: for all nodes option", but I have still a lot to learn and experiment. Thanks!

Hi, when using copy / paste format I'm often finding that Freeplane pastes only certain format attributes from one node to the other. For some reason, I can't make the "recent color" feature to work for me, it forgets the most recent used color really quickly. For example, If I select, say, a custom color in the palete (1), it doesn't appear in teh "Recent color" palette (2).
