It's not necessary for the metainfo to be upstreamed. Thanks for the quick response.
Hi, I've put together a flatpak manifest and submitted it to flathub here: https://github.com/flathub/flathub/pull/6260. It also contains a appstream metainfo file that it would be nice to have upstreamed here: https://github.com/flathub/flathub/blob/ca865116ce8530cfd0c000a687c8ca7e78be769d/net.sourceforge.ddrescueview.metainfo.xml. I have a few questions, flatpaks use a reverse domain notation for app IDs which I've put as net.sourceforge.ddrescueview, and your developer id as net.sourceforge.mbit-kiel....
That's the sign of a good place holder :) I've just now updated the description (I wasn't subscribed to this thread).
Hello, I'm maintaining a flatpak of wxEDID on flathub: https://github.com/flathub/net.sourceforge.wxEDID. Thanks for fixing the crash on Gnome. It would be useful if you could check the appdata.xml file on the repo to make sure your happy with it. It also currently uses a place holder icon and if there's a better option that would be great.
