Rob Glad I could help. I use a bash script to do all the housekeeping of Jack and alsa, start Jack, load Jamulus then aj-snapshot. you may find that over time you need various options (64, 128 etc) so a simple menu will help with that. Colin
Hi Check that alsamixer has not muted the two channels. My umc404hd worked on Jamulus OS without any problems except muted channels in alsamixer, which I think is the default setting regards Colin

Hi Laurent V2 all good, works well with old Acer laptop, and now works on a new Dell laptop that blocked V1 in BIOS with security issues that I was unable to fix. Thankyou Colin
