If you open any of the registry backup files (.REG) created by EAPO, they all have an improper duplication of the base registry path, "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE". For example, in the backup .reg is: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MMDevices\Audio\Render\ ...should actually be: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MMDevices\Audio\Render\

Peter, given the dev isn't active on this project, is there any chance you might be able to fork this project as a merging into Peace?

Does Equalizer APO function without the Windows Audio Enhancements functionality enabled? I wonder if those being disabled also blocks certain API access. I've noticed that other USB audio devices from SteelSeries/Corsair/Razer turn on Windows Audio Enhancements for some reason.

I think the reason for this is EqualizerAPO is tacking on an extra "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" to the path. Open up EAPO's folder and open the .reg/config files in an editor: there will likely be double "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" for each of the registry paths.

Old post, but I 100% agree with this, surprised it's not default functionality. If there was at least an option for extracting to a folder named after the archive from within the GUI, that would be helpful. If there's a 7z archive that I have to poke around through first before extracting before extracting, I end up opening it with WinRAR since it does create a new folder when extracting.
