Cannot create 16 bit wav file

Would you be willing to have an archive of other plugins for 32 bit and 64? There are so many that are useful, and sometimes they just evaporate becoming unfindable. On that I have archived on my computer is Dsharp, which is one of the best refocusing plugins, but without any docs or sources. It has vanished from the web. I have 2 which I fixed from the existing sources: Border control, Filter Blender. Both had some nasty defects. Border control wouldn't save/restore properly, and Filter Blender...

Thanks for the solution. I do not use linux, so I would not be able to fix the problem. It works OK on Windows.

Deinterlacing should only be used for broadcast videos where all frames are interlaced, NEVER for movies which have been telecined. Movies are telecined to add one extra frame for every 4 to convert from 24fps to 30fps for creating NTSC videos. Deinterlacing will still leave duplicate frames and sometimes multiple duplicates in a row. This will cause even more judder and make good spot removal impossible for plut-ins, and more difficult for manual frame by frame removal. As to deinterlacing, the...

    Track timing compatability

I have tried the plugin labeled "Aspect Ratio" MMX, and it causes VD to crash. The Change size can only change size or letterbox the video. It can not set the aspect ratio to have a standard anamorphic 4:3 or 16:9 video with frame size 720x480. A simple internal fix would be a single filter to set the desired "Display aspect ratio". It could be included in the size filter, but that filter is already a bit confusing. I suppose an extra option to set aspect ratio without changing the frame size would...

Aspect ratio messed up and can not be corrected

I tried a number of different things and finally found that the followind did the trick. TDeint(mode=1, order=1, field=1) grayscale() srestore(frate=23.976) It seemed to work well for places that I spotchecked. After this I will be using various routines to stabilitze and despot the video. I also use Photoshop to rotoscope the video and remove big spots by hand. It is only retelecined when I create the DVD, but not for an MP4. This sequence may also work for 2:3 telecined 2P3i film, but may only...

Yes, you are right. I was fooled by the output. IVTC individual frames seems to delete the ghosted one, the one before, or the one after. So the only way to detect it is by checking for a ghosted frame which is a combination of the 2 adjacent frames. I might look at the Decimate code and see if this can be done. I will also look to see if there is code that already does this. Of course the best solution is to find a properly telecined version of the same movie, but that is hard for public domain...

IVTC can be used to delete every 5th frame staring from frame 2, but that will not work for the entire movie as the pattern shifts. When IVTC is used to delete duplicate frames (single frame mode) it deletes the one after the ghosted frame, so IVTC would have to have an option to select the first frame of a duplicate pair. Actually the best way to do this would be to check if the frame is a combination of the previous and the last frame., but that would be more difficult. In a properly telecined...

IVTC basically tries to match up odd and even half frames for 2/5 of the input frames. Then it can discard one of the two duplicate frames. This reconstructs the original 23.9 (~24) progressive framess. The internal version also can dispense with the odd even matching and just look to discard 1 duplicate frame for every 5 input. A reworking of IVTC to make it try to match 3/5 of the input frames would be ideal, but it also should be careful about the problem of ghosted half frames. This is a major...
