For me the logging is good: it said that there is a communication error with the scanner, the problem lies in the data transfer process as no data was received. So if no data was received, windows is blocking something. Surely it have to do with Windows 11 security measures. You will need to investigate and find why Windows is blocking the communication with the application. There is something in Windows to allow an application to "passthru" and communicate. Perhaps the Paint.NET created a rule when...
You need to check the connection of the scanner and check the driver. Windows report to NAPS2 that the scanner is offline. So there something wrong there. You might accidentally put the scanner OFFLINE in the peripheral settings of Windows. Try to check for that also. (Where are all the printers and scanners devices)
The OCR language exists and you can download them when you set the OCR options. But you can't assign directly a OCR language to a scan profile. You will have to define a specific language in the OCR option. You can also select all of theses in the options and they should try for a language they are enabled on.
Yes, you can, the error will be reported to Naps2 (Paper JAM) and it will stop scanning. Once the paper is fixed, you replace the paper and press the scan button again.
Bonjour Alexandre. Il semblerais que NAPS n'aime pas le pilote WIA qui vient avec ton imprimante. Peut-tu utiliser TWAIN?
Hi, Did you checked the source code on GitHub or here? You should have all your answers in the source.
Hi, I do plan to update my Ghostscript for my fork during the year. But Don't know if Ben will update his addon on the official NAPS2. My fork require .NET Framework 4.5, and I updated all the internal libs already. Ghostscript is an external module and for me is on my TODO list with Tesseract (OCR module). I'm still learning the code and only adding small features for now to be more familiar with the code. Since my version is developped to work with multi-documents, I plan to check on how to create...
Hi, I've checked the exeption and this might have to do with your HDD. Can you do some test of the surface with a tool to be sure there is no issues. Naps here is super stable, I've never had such an issue and using it a lot. But It's installed on a SSD and not on a HDD.
