Never mind this question - I just saw the save-as filetype ".GREENSHOT" and it does what I want. You can delete this topic if you want.

Hi, If I take a screen capture, and use Greenshot to add annotations (text, arrows, etc.) I can move those annotations around all I want. If I save the file (PNG) and then later use Greenshot to "Open image from file," those annotations are now embedded in the image, and I can't move them. Is there a way to save the file so I can later edit it with Greenshot (moving the parts around)?
