I have the same problem also running on Arch (Antergos actually). The included driver doesn't load at all, when I try to install the driver from here I also get the SSL-error. Only the dkms-version from AUR works partly, but it is only mono sound so only one channel is working.... That only happens with pulseaudio, when I use alsa (with vlc for example) it works fine.
