thanks very much. the OS is redhat 6.4. the file is nmon_x86_64_rhel6. the version is 14g we add the crontab for this nmon for 3years and is ok always. only Apr 18 22:00 to 23:59 is stop or error. after Apr 29 00:00 the nmon is normally by itself. the crontab I post may be is wrong. the correct is as follows: 0 0 * * * /usr/bin/nmon_x86_64_rhel6 -ft -s 120 -c 719 -m /home/omc/nmon > /dev/null 2>&1

we add the nmon commond in crontab for OS, every day get one file. 0 0 * * * /usr/bin/nmon -fT -m /home/nmon_monitor -s 120 -c 719 > /dev/null 2>&1
