Thanks for the reply, Yes file name is setenv.sh and tomcat is started via terminal The file contains this: ESTICON= “/Users/ESTICON” export ESTICON I tried the two commands to make it executable still not working Thanks

Hi, I am working through the set up on osx el capitan and have got as far as succesfully deploying estimate on tomcat. I followed your instructions further up the thread about creating a file for environmental variables in the bin folder and copying my file path in to it, which was to a folder I called ESTICON but its still not working, maybe im missing something, so close but so far.
