I found the solution. I had been investigating different gchord patterns. When I opened Settings>ABCsettings>abc2midi I found the gchord setting was empty. The lagging problem was fixed when I typed in "default" or one of the possible suggested settings. But when I close the Settings window and go back to it, what I had typed in is now blank again. This didn't happen with the previous version 1386 I see that the sound font is set to SGM-V2.01.sf2.

Just downloaded 1.3.8.7. Very happy to see the black page is fixed and the musical notation glyphs are back. Thanks. I have maybe the same problem with the Follow Score command. 1) the progress bar does not move. You can slide it manually with the mouse, but it does not move. 2) with following turned on the highlighted note seems to be about a measure behind the sound of the note. Thanks. Jan Wybren, for all the work you are doing on this program, which is the best abc editor.

ver.1.3.8.6 Windows 11 PC. When I try to print all I get is a solid black page on both my printers, Epson Photo R280 color inkjet and Brother HL-LH2350DW black laser. The Brother is wireless, Epson directly wired. I can print to a PDF and then print the PDF to get the score. I used to be able to print ok with earlier EasyABC versions.

EasyABC Ver. 1.3.7.9 When tune ends, the Start/Pause green button remains in the Pause mode. As I enlarge the code window by dragging the ABC code bar up, a ghost line appears in the Musical score window. While we’re waiting there is a workaround for looping I found on another discussion group. In the header you use the P: code in the header before and after the K: code, like so: P: A6 %A6 will loop 6 times. I guess you can put in any number, haven't tried it K: Dmaj P: A Dave

It just occurred to me to ask about this. I have been using easyabc for quite a while and have always been bothered that I have a hard time following the dancing notes when Follow Score is checked. Can you make it bright red or something? Or user-modifiable? Changing the color from black to gray is not enough of a difference. Thanks for all your good work!

Same versions Easy and Win 10. Having the same problem, but I have been working with proper looping for a long time. It just stopped. If you figure it out please post how you fixed it!
