I tested drbl-winroll (v1.7.2-249 ) last week and the auto hostname function is worked in Windows 10 under pure DHCP enabled environment. Maybe you can test the function with out auto-adding AD process first , then try to figure out the issue .

Hi Sir, Basically, DRBL would send comand to clients via ssh service running by cygwin running under clients (Windows). So, clients can run any command what can excute under Windows or Cygwin environment. Hi Tricitm , Please use file : https://github.com/ceasar-sun/drbl-winroll/blob/master/sbin/winrollsrv.sh to relpace the old one as c:\cygwin\sbin\winroll.sh in Windows clients and have a test. Please send the result via drbl-winbroll_bug_report if it work failed.

Try to choose 'Hard Disk' then back to 'USB Drive' , does it show up ? In addition , It would happen if the USB drive has no regular parition. Post the command result : cat /proc/diskstats . please.

Ha, in fact , the hostname's parameter is inherited from wsname.exe , like $IP ,...
