Thanks a lot, the workaround will do the job for now, and we will test the 4.9.8 release and use it if we don't experience any issues. Great work! Brian
That would be very appreciated, as it would solve the current issue. But I do still think the warning might be a bug as the field we are prescribing with the command is never read (or at least there is no reason that it should be).
Hi, We use NCO quite a lot on our cluster and VMs for processing NetCDF files for operational oceanographic forecasting. While migrating jobs to a new server we stumbled upon a new warning message, which we think might be wrong or else we don't really understand why it's there. ncap2 -s 'var(0,:,:)=0.0f' infile.nc outfile.nc ncap2: WARNING assign(): Var being read and written in ASSIGN var The new server is an Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and the warning is present with both nco 4.9.1 (from repository) and nco...

Increased allowed length of variable names
Increased max z-levels to 8192 and added bounds check
Gvc2Zax
Added support for elevation above seafloor and more flexible z-level definitions
Added option for land-sea mask variable
Merge branch 'master' of ssh://git.code.sf.net/...
Thanks for the answer. I don't know if this could somehow be noted in the documentation...
Did anybody find a solution for this? I'm experiencing the same problem using clonezilla-live-20151012-wily-amd64....
Thanks. That's my solution for now. However, since it's during postrun, I don't get...
Those are exactly what I'm looking for, however I would like to be able to monitor/log...
I'm booting Clonezilla live using pxe-boot and everything works perfectly, both live...
