I appreciate your response, Andy, and all the work you've put into this project. Curating and cobbling together all the installed and configured files to get something like this up and running in a somewhat "turnkey" state is a lot of work. The problem, as I see it, is that there can be so many hardware and driver conflicts that make it tough to just click "install" and then expect everything to work seamlessly. (Which port? What baud rate? Is it CAT? CI-V? RTS? DTS? WTF?) For example I can "kinda"...

I have to say, it seems like a great idea to build a version of Linux just for ham radio, but it's extremely difficult to get any of the software working. I've got an Icom IC-7300, with PTRX-7300 panadaptor board and an RSPdx SDR radio, and almost none of the software on the Andy's Ham Shack distro seems to work. Windows 10 I used to be able to run FLDigi, WSJT-X, SDRPlay, etc. I'd rather run Linux than Windows in the shack, but it's very frustrating.... DE WS1O
