Its a encrypted container. I'm pretty sure its the correct password. Also, would the header be damaged on both the hidden and standard volume? I can't access either one.

I tried both options selected. Still No luck. Any other suggestions?

No luck. I tried it. If I installed VC on another laptop and used my container, will that help? Or the corrupted data affected the container as well?

Thanks. I don't see a "do not mount" option. Refer to the screen shot. So I attempted to login using one of each of the 5 mount options at a time. Except "Mount partition using system encryption without pre-boot authentication" I Cant get that to work. No luck.

Power Outage occurred while I was mounted to my hidden volume. Now when I attempt to login I get this message: Operation Failed due to one or more of the following: Incorrect Password Incorrect Volume PIM Number Incorrect PRF (hash) Not a valid Volume Source: MountVolume:8424 I did a reinstall, same error message but the number changed: Source: MountVolume:8467 My password is definitely correct. I can't access the outer volume either.

Ive noticed I need to store items larger than 4gb. Now I'm curious what happens if I store a folder larger than 4gb in the outer volume with this current setting? I've been splicing folders into 3GB sections prior to moving them to the outer volume just to be safe. I'm just curious what ramification there are...

Thanks Robert (face to palm momment). Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I barley use the Disk management tool other than just checking my Unallocated space. You sir are a genius. You also essentially answered my second question as well. Thanks.

I have a couple of question after reading the Security and Requirements section. Documentation says: “A file-hosted VeraCrypt container is stored in a journaling file system (such as NTFS). A copy of the VeraCrypt container (or of its fragment) may remain on the host volume. To prevent this, do one the following: Use a partition/device-hosted VeraCrypt volume instead of file-hosted” It also says: “A VeraCrypt partition is a hard disk partition encrypted using VeraCrypt” Question: So, to prevent this...
