Hello, I have 2 Veracrypt recovery disks from laptop and desktop that I want to backup to a local storage media and also password-protect and store in the cloud. In the case of emergency where I have no other access than cloud I would download them, create bootable flash drive with them and do the recovery. Is that a good safety method?

Hi. I bought a new NVME drive and want to move main OS NVME drive from slot #1 to slot #2 because it offers faster data transfer. I will be installing new NVME in slot #1. Can such hardware change cause issues in main drive that has been encrypted with VeraCrypt? I know drives have their paths like disk0, disk1 and such in storage manager. Also there are boot records that OS looks for. What will happen after change of drive placement? Will OS work fine after that and will data integrity be whole?...
Hello, Question about stable releases of VeraCrypt. I am risk averse and prefer to not be "early adopter". Is it better to download latest stable version or version prior to latest stable? On one hand bugs that were present in previous version could have been ironed out in the latest stable release however it does not exclude potential new bugs in that version that have not yet been found. What do you think and what is your personal preference? I think this question is apt for other software as well....
