I will participate too. As a long time contributor I'm still very interested in the future of Freeplane although I'm not very active currently. I'm looking forward to getting in contact with some of the people in the forum!

As a long time every-day user of Freeplane (and a developer of it too - although not active for quite a while now) I almost exclusively use Freeplane via my keyboard and this works really well for me. But whenever I need to invoke a command that I don't know how to invoke via the keyboard (like filtering), the toolbar is of little value to me: I find it confusing and I don't understand the meaning of most of the current icons by looking at them. Thank you echo21 - happy new year! Unfortunately development of the Freeplane Server is stalled until there are people who want to implement it. Best Volker

Hi echo21, if you want to get feedback from the community I'd suggest to make it as easy as can be for them by packaging your script(s) as an Freeplane add-on. If you want to add handlers to Freeplane you have to study the Freeplane source code and look for the various Listener classes and their use. Best regards, Volker

Jürgen, you may want to have a look at Using map specific storage - not node specific, but you could use the node ids as keys. Volker

Hi AI, you have to save the script into a file <script_name>.groovy in the directory <freeplane_user_dir>/scripts. Then it will be found automatically by Freeplane. open the <freeplane_user_dir> via the respective menu item in the Tools menu.</freeplane_user_dir></freeplane_user_dir></script_name> Keeping fingers crossed that the script still works ;) Volker

Hi Edo, try this: Create freeplane_src by extracting the Freeplane source archive Import that into Freeplane as described. Create a folder for your scripts: freeplane_src/FreeplaneScripts Put your scripts into that folder Create a new Eclipse project for your scripts. I'm not completely sure which type it has to be as I use Intellij Volker
