Pending track cuts are highlighted by changes in color of track with a white space between the colors. Fair enough. Now I looking for a way to mark the cut as being done ... and a dead end to the autorouter. DIPs always need track cuts which I do with a 5/32 drill bit. I don't cut between the holes. BTW, there is much to like in VeroRouter. Two thumbs up!

Thank you for clear answer. I decided to pretend there are no vertical power strips but mark where they should be with 2 3pin connectors. I can still use these boards when the number of components or nets is small. The main thing is to have a plan before heating the iron.

I have several BusBoards with 3 long vertical strips on the sides and horizontal strips in 5-2-5 pattern. It looks something like the layout of a plastic breadboard. How can one work efficiently with this layout which is practical for PDIP ICs and MCUs. I practiced regular stripboard with some several caps, resistors, diodes, and LEDs. It was a preliminary power supply circuit which did not require strip cuts. How does one make strip cuts and minimize the number of them.
