Maybe you didnt completely read the question, the Docker container was merely mentioned as the type of installation. The main question is / was about injecting sound to the server OR running a headless client.

Hi, i am thinking if its possible to create a Docker stack for jamulus and netpd (https://www.netpd.org/). The idea would be to have a jamming room that enables collaborative electronic music, along with analog instruments. Besides: i am really greatful for the existance of the Jamulus docker, but imho its not a well made container, i.e. that you can only setup server parameters at container image creation is not only unusual, its not how docker containers are supposed to work.
