Forgotten???
The splitindex program allows for multiple indeces. I want to run it from txs but I donot see a way to do so without compromising the general use of makeindex. Can you please point to the way to add a user command splitindex.
I am using TeXstudio 2.12.6 (hg 6632:7777b2b8a906) Using Qt Version 5.9.1, compiled with Qt 5.9.1 R on win7-64. My letter template is write-protected to be left unchanged. However it can be modified with Texstudio, which in itself is strange. Trying to compile the unsaved document gives rise to an unending sequence of messages about the fact that the document can not be saved. It does not seem possible to interrupt the messages ro remedy the situation. One has to stop the program using the windows...
The "or" in the search line is not respected: Only the last status: is looked after. status:closed as last term shows closed bugs. Do you report this to sourceforge?
It turned out to be my fault: The language tool configuration was perfect. But some time ago I had unchecked Options->Editor-> Inline checking completely so that txs was not forced at all to do checking. Jan found it looking at my desktop with teamviewer. Thanks a lot.
The editors I have used before for tex/latex has all a window where you could follow the compilation. Texstudio refuses this. Is there any reason to do so. Preparing my book of 600+ pages I would like to observe the compilation. Maybe there is an easy way to add such a window to txs. I would be very glad.
This has been solved due to Jan Sundermeyer looking into my configuration. Nothing was wrong with the language tool config. I had unchecked the Inline Checking option in Options->configure ->Editor.
Hi Jan, Yesterday you closed the ticket but you deleted it. it is gone. Regards Bernhard
