Sadly I can verify that 0.7 does not resume properly and starts all over for the mingw windows precopiled version. Even worse it stops if a rainbow table is broken. 0.7 beta 2 has the same issue. If you look at the source code you clearly see that writing to .progress is commented out (CrackEngine.cpp ~Line 1430)

There have been several (file-level) de-duplication threads in this forum over the years. According to Igor Pavlov, the 7z format does not support deduplication/ hard linking of files https://sourceforge.net/p/sevenzip/discussion/45797/thread/1781f873/ (2008) https://sourceforge.net/p/sevenzip/discussion/45797/thread/92bb5b73/ (2017) and so (obviously), 7zip cannot create 7z-Archives deduplicated on the file level. It seems that file-level deduplication works for file sizes smaller than the word...
Compressed size of wim is reported incorrectly
Keep GUI alive during .tar creation
Use StdIn / Pipe instead of temporary file for tar
multi-file/multi-archive decompression (Optionally allow parallel decompresson of several files)
