Hi all, I hope a genius here can help me out, struggling... I have an Ultimarc apac and rpi3 and 4 potentiometers to act as spinners. Like the original Warlords cabinet. I have the apac working as two joystick, where the P1 and P2 controla use x axis of joy0 for left and right (P1) and then uses Y axis of joy0 for left and right of P2, then joy1 x-axis for P3 and Y-axis joy1 for P4 The issue is, in advmame, joystick inouts seem to have a dead spot in the middle, I assume for making a real joystick...

You might want to have a look at this thread https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/12972/ultimarc-a-pac-with-5k-potentiometers Its not exactly what you want, but it talks about the advmame config file and changing the dialx and paddlex settings to make it work with joysticks. In the thread its discussing using potentiometers, but it might point you in the right direction?
