Thanks again!
Keep tree node 'lock' icon colored red when reconnection timer is active
Hi, I don't know if I should put this in this ticket, or open a new one? I noticed when a host is reconnecting, the small 'lock' icon in the tree on the left side turns to grey (like a non-opened connection) when DoffenSSHtunnel is waiting for the reconnection timer to expire. When it retries, it only turns for a short moment to red and then back to grey for the remainder of the reconnection timer. Wouldn't it be more clear to let the 'lock' icon be turned to red whenever the reconnection timer is...
Awesome! Thanks a lot!
Thanks! Auto reconnecting seems to behave exactly as configured now. Is there a reason the reconnect count is limited to max 99 only? I have a few systems I would like to keep retrying for e.g. every 5 seconds indefinite (or at least a couple of days).
Thank you for your detailed analysis. If I kill plink manually via taskmanager, it indeed reconnects automatically. So the core functionality seems to work correctly. I assume that when I reboot the ssh server, plink cannot initiate a connection and immediately exits with an error for each retry. So the 10 retries fail within a second. It would be awesome if you could make the reconnection behaviour configurable! Thanks in advance.
Hi, I have enabled the 'Enable auto reconnect tunnels' option in preferences. And I also checked the 'Auto Reconnect' box in the node 'edit' tab. A simple way to reproduce is to establish a tunnel and setup an ssh connection through it. If you e.g. reboot the server, DoffenSSHTunnel does not reconnect by itself once it is rebooted. According to me, the plink process terminates since the log shows the process exited (with return code 1): 1> Looking up host "localhost" for SSH connection 1> Connecting...
Auto reconnect does not work?
