Thanks! I'll walk-through this tonight. What does the menu.sh script do?
Colin, Any chance you would share your bash script? That sounds like a great setup.
Colin, Your answer is correct, thank you for posting. I had read others used Alsamixer to enable the disabled interfaces, but it didn't make sense to me. I opened Alsamixer, found the disabled capture labeled "Mic Rear" and used the arrow keys to slide it up to 100% volume. But that doesn't fix the problem, you need to hit the spacebar while it is selected to enable it. On a side note, I found a script online that does the same thing, and can enable inputs 3 & 4 any time you plugin the UMC404HD....
Hey All, One more thing I have tried is using aj-snapshot to reconnect capture ports 3 & 4 to Jamulus inputs 1 & 2, and this seems to work, however it still doesn't solve my problem of no sound from inputs 3 & 4. But, it does make testing my failures quicker! What I did was use QjackCtl Graph to connect inputs 3 & 4 into Jamulus inputs 1 & 2, then used aj-snapshot to capture these settings to a file. Then you run aj-snapshot in daemon mode with that file, and when you start Jamulus, it reconnects...
Hello Stefan, I'm using Raspberry Pi. I've updated to the latest QjackCtl, 0.9.0, and I can't seem to figure out how to try using alsa_in and alsa_out. I am using "system" and "Jamulus". In the QjackCtl, I have added connections for input_3 and input_4, see attached. It doesn't fix the issue however, still no sound from 3 & 4.
Hello Ignotus, I have selected my interface and also selected 4/4 in the I/O section. Those settings also made it into the .jackdrc file, see attached. Unfortunately, this didn't fix it.
Hey Don, Behringer does not provide any software or documentation for using this interface on Linux with Jack audio. I am hoping someone on here has, and can share the knowledge. I have tried a few different settings in Qjackctl, but nothing so far has enabled inputs 3 & 4.
Hey all, I have a Raspberry Pi 4 I'm using as a Jamulus client. The Behringer UMC404HD has four inputs. I've configured Jack to use the interface, but only get some from inputs 1 & 2. What do I need to do to get inputs 3 & 4 working? Thanks, -Rob
