Noticed another small issue: The game takes maxes out usage of the entire single CPU core that it's given. This is fixed by enabling "Timing->CPU Optimization->Slow down mouse polling" - but for some reason this also breaks the ability to quit the game via clicking QUIT on the main menu! It makes the click sound and visual and stops the menu music, but doesn't actually quit the game. I can click on other buttons after that (e.g. load mission), and they'll work (?) Disabling the mouse polling option...

Forgot to mention that hotkeys don't seem to work in fullscreen either... I think maybe the process is locking up, because screen is black (except for the software cursor) and the music goes into a 2-ish second loop, and maybe this is preventing hotkey processing from occurring as well? But I'm glad you reminded me of hotkeys, because while the minimize hotkey doesn't minimize the window, but it does stop it from drawing over the top of everything else when it loses focus. This gets me a method for...

Update: I noticed that at the beginning of the second mission, the game wasn't correctly determining what the mouse cursor was pointing at when using Main->Position->Desktop + Keep aspect ratio. Preliminary testing suggests that "Libs->GDI->Share ddraw and GDI DC" may help, or else it's just intermittent. This also may help with the issue of the view not panning when moving the mouse to the right and/or bottom edges of the game screen.

Hello. I'm experimenting with using DxWnd 2.05.61 to improve stability for MechCommander Gold when running on Windows 10 x64. I have had great success so far, but I'm also having a bunch of little issues that I hope people can provide advice on. Here are the notes I've collected: - The game only seems to run in DxWnd's windowed mode. Fullscreen consistently results in a nasty black window with no way to exit the game (Alt+F4 doesn't work even when I hook it for some reason?). - Because the game runs...
