    Definitely a VPN will affect things. The VPN takes all your PC's internet traffic and funnels through the VPN pipe to the local network at the other end of the VPN. It will not allow any other local traffic to access your PC. Bill

    Dan: I have been seeing similar issues. I think it may have something to do with the way NAT works in the routers. In our situation, we have 4 servers set up using internet link A, and a Custom Central Server set up using internet link B. Server 1 uses port 22120, Server 2 uses port 22121, Server 3 uses port 22122, and Server 4 uses port 22123.     Bo: From your server machine, try doing a Google search of "what is my ip address". You will see the public IP address of your router. Give that address to use to your friends when trying to connect to your server.

    When first trying to set up a Jamulus server on a Raspi 4, I tried on the ubuntu 64 bit OS. Although Jamulus built and seemed to run OK, after an hour or so, the Raspi totally hung - no console, nothing. Only a power reboot would revive it. So I rebuilt everything to to run on the 32 bit debian based OS and all seemed to work fine, except for one glitch that happens once or twice a day. Our setup is as follows: one Raspi 4 attached to internet link A with 4 instances of the server running on it....
