I guess I'm runnning into the limits of my MySql skills. I do not mind learning, but I seem to have a tough time finding the place to start. I thought I could modify the existing sales_extendedcashregisterlog.bs script, adding the information it's missing, but then I need to recompile, and I'm not sure where to start on that. I tried generating a MySql query, but my limited knowledge is preventing me from figuring out how to like the information in different tables. I guess I need to see an example...
Hello, So far I've been able to modify unicenta to do what I need to do, but since the end of the second quarter I've run into an issue which may be a a permanent roadblock. For tax purposes, every quarter I need to be able to export the complete sales data. I need date, sale amount, tax amount and transaction type (cash, check, charge). I've been through the system as well as trying to export through mySQL for Excel, but nothing provides all of the above data. I tried to corelate all of the data...
I'm leaving it running and I do not think the sysem is going to sleep. In fact, the computer can be used for hours before going back into unicenta, and it will still error on the first try.
I hope I'm missing something, as this seems like such an obvious feature. Please HELP! Every quarter, I need to export all of my sales with all of the data. CSV, excel, text, whatever format. I need all of the data. I cannot find anything in the POS system itself, and when I try to get the data direct from the database, it's all divided up amounst mulitple tables that are going to be a nightmare to put back together. Is there a procedure for doing this? thanks
Every morning when I come in (or when the system has sat unused for some period of time) I get the following error: Java.sql.sqlexception Could not retrieve transation read-only status server. I have to exit whatever I was trying to do, choose another option then go back to what I was doing and Unicenta works fine. So yes, I have a workaround, but two problems: My employees get confused and if we were working on a ticket the night before, it get deleted. Any suggestions? I've searched here and through...
I would think this would be easy, and maybe I'm just missing something, but how do I enter a transaction with multiple payment methods: Someone wants to pay $200 in cash and the rest on his card? Thanks
I know this is an old topic, but any word on why this won't work for me? When I implement Brandons solution, I get nothing when I try to go to the sales screen. In other words, I click on it and nothing happens. I assume that means there's a DB error somewhere with this setup.
Hello, I am struggling to figure out how to configure printing. I've determined that Printer.Ticket is where the formatting occurs, but I can't figure out how to change page size. Any examples or references to past topics would be greatly appreciated. I've been stuck on this for an entire day. Thanks
