  Thank you for the naswer. I really do not want to keep using it. But have not found a way to restore everything back to no veracrypt. Is there a way?

  So my windows installation got messed up. I restored an acronis full disk backup. OS partition was encrypted by veracrypt. Acronis did not see anything encripted. So basically it wrote decrypted data to the disk. However, at boot, veractypt bootloader still thinks it is. So I started the computer using the rescue disk I created. Tried every option that the rescue disk offers, removing Veracrypt, everything. I can not boot normally to windows. Now this is the weird part. If I choose Boot to OS from...
