I did a clean install of Windows 10 (wiped drive and reinstalled) and I checked the Advanced Startup Options menu worked normally and showed all options. Then with no other programs installed I started running an encryption of Veracrypt and as soon as I did that the Advanced Startup Options only showed "shutdown this PC" So it is definitely Veracrypt that does this, and I'm wondering if this can be fixed since I can still access those options by enabling the legacy advanced boot options as described...
I'm not entirely sure if this is a veracrypt issue but I believe it may be. I wanted to boot into safe mode to run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller), however when I used the standard hold shift while pressing restart and when I rebooted it only showed the "shutdown this PC" option. It looked like this found. I also tried booting into it using the option in the Recovery section of the Windows settings with the same results. Excluding the mounted drive letter in Windows defender seems to have resolved the issue. Thank you for the help.
I have a volume with a separate profile of firefox and every time I use that profile for enough time and then close it and try to dismount the volume I get a warning that files are still in use. This occurs even after closing the browser and waiting several hours before trying to dismount again. I've tried both a portable installation of Firefox with all of it's files and configurations on the volume and a normal install with the app installed on another drive with just the profile information located...
