Hello! When using Open Camera it stays as foreground activity. When phone in pocket, sometimes, you can press power button and Open Camera appear as foreground activty. Thanks! That what Wikipeida says. The question is, can I calculate equinox day (not exact moment) based on shadow length / curvature. I except when Sun passes the equator it also would be most straight line from shadow top. And it is almost true.

Hello! I did small research based on Steallarium 'Ephemeris' Sun position data and calculate equinox day based on how straight shadow is (I expect straight line). Basically I assume (wikipedia think differently) on equinox day shadow on ground should appear as straight line as possible. This day I call equinox day. Hello! Here is an issue with Camera dialog when device in Screen Locked mode (pattern lock). When user switch between fast settings popup dialogs requiresting to unlock device. This is very annyoung when you using app without unlocking device because it force you to unlock device and loosing precious moments not taking picture. The problem is simple: dialog has it own Window and WindowManager.LayoutParams.FLAG_SHOW_WHEN_LOCKED should be set individually as for Activity Window object.

1) If start focus 10cm and end focus 20cm witch 10 steps it is ok to go by 2cm - linerally. But if start focus 10cm and end focus 1m (or infinity) with 10 steps it always means I'm shoothing something very close to my device and something fading in distance. Jumping from 10cm to 20cm can cause visible missing focus spots. Best aproach here to jump from 10cm to 13cm, then to 17cm then to 25cm etc.. Seems like it is possible to automaticlly create several shots with fixed focus steps and OpenCamera. Then combine images using https://sourceforge.net/p/hugin/hugin/ci/default/tree/ and align_image_stack utility. A bit work porting align_image_stack as a jni library it not a big deal. And automating OpenCamera to make several shots in special focus stacking mode (need a bit practice to see what options needed, how deep focus should be, which deep to start, how fast it going to work, etc...)

Hello! I've just add support for DjVu in my open-source android book reader app (https://gitlab.com/axet/android-book-reader). Thanks for great, powerfull library. I wish it can spread more and replace pdf finnaly. I have a question, can DjVuImage / produce GPixelmap's with alpha channel? So, reader can have nice user/eyes frendly background for docuemnt pages? It is hard or even possible to implement? I did a little reasearch and it seems all operations including IO do not have apha channel support....

Hello! Thanks for great app and new features! Can you please restore auto focus functionality while camera in manual focus mode? It is very handy to keep camera in manual focus mode, but have option to click anywhere on screen to help device find optimal focus automatically by just one hit. Currenlty auto focues in manual mode does no change focus, just white ballance. (it may be only camera2 api option)

Another closing bug: When you close camera using home button (circle) then open camera using lockscreen button (right button with camera image) Camera app fill failed to open camera with error message.

Hello! It is common and handy to swipe the screen to switch between Camera and Recorder, in the wild it is hard to press such small settings buttons and swipe guestion will make live easier and it is how Google Camera works. Hello! When I wakling in forest very I take fast picture and put phone back to the pocket. Often, when you do sudden movments phone power button can be pressed and screen led. If I have Camera application in foreground then phone screen never (screen timeout - I can call it never) goes off which leads to veryy havy battery consumption. Can you consider adding new feature move main activity to the back state after application receive SCREEN_OFF broadcast intent? So next time when I press power button...
