Meanwhile I figured that I need moz-extension+++ stuff from "storage". It sort of works like this: /C ""%programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.exe" a -mx=5 -mmt=12 -ssw "e:\backup\Firefox\Firefox-profil-mentés - %date%.7z" "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*.default\" "-xr!C:\Users\zsolt\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*.default\storage\*\http*\"" It removes http/https items from ".\storage\default\" Though, perpexingly it doesn't touch stuff in ".\storage\archives\", such as...
Thanks again!
Thanks! Does that ignore every folder named "storage"?
Hi! I came up with this CLI for task scheduler a while ago: CMD /C ""%programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.exe" a -mx=5 -mmt=12 "e:\backup\Firefox\Firefox-profil-mentés - %date%.7z" "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*.default\"" But it only works if Firefox is not running. Otherwise it skips files, important files. Because a "different process is using it". I can copy these files without an issue with total commander or explorer, so I see no reason why 7z couldn't do the same. I even...

Hi! My biggest annoyance is that I have a modern CPU with ample computation power, yet 7z has a sorry utilization. At parts it goes to around 50% but more commonly it's around 10-15%. Isn't there a mode where good CPU utilization is a given, and the settings would control how long the compression would take and how well the compression ratio turns out.
Thanks. So I guess the default options were removed for W10, but still present in 8.1. That would explain the symptoms. Peter Verbeek peverbeek@users.sourceforge.net ezt írta (időpont: 2020. jún. 17., Sze 12:41): Microsoft explains this on this webpage https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/audio/audio-processing-object-architecture : The audio stream goes "through" SFX (stream effects) to MFX (mode effects) to EFX (endpoint effects) to the output connector. For Windows Vista and...
It seems so. Thanks. I found other suggestions for this. But what do these acronyms even mean? SFX, LFX, MFX, GFX...
Hi! Essentially nothing happens. I had everything set up and I upgraded with keeping all apps and data, but Equalizer apo doesn't work. Even tried reanstalling, thinking maybe something is set at that time, but still nothing. I have an Asus PRIME B350-PLUS mobo and I've been using EQ-APO for years on 8.1.
Tried reinstalling both driver and EQ APO, no joy... :(
I always recorded output, but the recording didn't have the dsp effect applied before. I used MSI Afterburner by the way.

Hi! I had an issue, so I tried reinstalling the audio driver. And now I notice that recordings have the effect I use applied, which I really don't want, so when I play them back the effect is applied twice. Why is this? How do I get it to work normally again?
Here's a screenshot and photo that shows the difference.

Thanks, though I wasn't asking about that. Rather about the "Use Camera2 API" option.
Hi! I just realized that most annyoingly what I see is not what I get the photos have more on all four sides, the aspect ration seems normal. Curiously there no problem in video mode, there I actually get what I see. What do I do to resolve this? I have a Doogee X5 Pro. I don't have the stabilization enabled, but that results in the opposite anyway. The photo being cropped. But here it's only the preview
Where exactly is this option? I don't see it.
Hi! Previously I managed to disable the camera sound. I thought that it was from within this app. But now I can't do it. The shutter sound option only disables the sound effect for still photos. The stupid soundeffect annoys me to no end.
What would say the minimum solid block size is for decent multi-core cpu utilization? Previously you mentioned decompression. So does it only affect decompression performance? (And such compression performance is only dependent on the relative dictionary size and the chunk size it implicitly sets?)
Hi! This can be annoying because I might have folders with an identical name within roaming and local appdata, which I want to archive. But so far I can't find a solution to deal with this via 7z.exe.
Thanks. I'll keep this in mind. So adjusting chunk size is out of question?
I see. Why are the chunks sized as they are. Is it necessary for them to be as large? Can the chunk size be configured. (I see no option for it in the add to archive dialog) And new multi-thread decompression doesn't work for small files in non-solid archives. So if I were to have only small files (smaller then tha chunk size?) files in an archive there would be no multi-processing in practice?

From the ultimate one? I also tested a lossless 1GB video file with lossless UT Video and Wav streams. With little difference a short 70-75% CPU utilization stage and a long 50-55% one, with a short 10-15% CPU utiliztation stage at the end. (Some 77% compression ratio) on decompression only ultra's particularly bad. I'll attach images on how compression looks for ultra, normal and fast.

What counts as big dataset? When I used ultra preset on the 5 largest files (video files) in my download folder CPU utilization alternated between 50-60% a d 70-75% for the most part, sometimes it dropped to 30-40% . But never near 95-100%. Decompression was worse. Below 10% cpu utiliztation on average and never more then 250MB/s. My SSD can do ~500. PS: Does "solid block size" have any effect on this. I always set it to non-solid, because I hate it when I have to wait to decompress a single fil...
Hmm... I tried this but CPU utilization with my Ryzen 5 1600 doesn't seem to be higher during unpacking. But instead of maxing out on core, it now uses several. All in all the total cpu utilization doesn't go above 12%. (I unpack on an SSD so IO shouldn't be an issue) BTW . I'm also struggling to get good CPU utilization when compressing. Everything above the "normal" preset brings increasingry poorer cpu utilization, aggravating the slowness higher compression causes.
Hi! Someone suggested this: https://sourceforge.net/projects/peace-equalizer-apo-extension/files/?source=navbar (BTW you can edit the config file on the fly) However I recommend using this: https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php/topic,112100.msg946438.html#msg946438 In my opinion it's superior to these artificial virtualization stuff (even dolby headphone) (The pack shared there also has a short guide for peace.)
Well, the generic realtek driver friggin doesn't work so I may never know... The the realtek icon/settings (realtek hd audio manager) wouldn't start. But even Equalizer APO didn't work. At least the HRIR didn't. When I added a preamp, that took effect. But nothing happened for HRIR. Anyway now I'm back to the ASUS custom driver, and left everything but the channel layout default. Hopefully this will don't manipulate audio. (Effect sections and such are unavailable... Who knows why... Maybe it's only...

Hi Matt! Thanks for this! I've been looking for something like this a year ago or so, to no avail. (I particularly wanted Dolby headphone, which I've been using for years) Is Atmos considered the best headphone virtualization DSP? Also, I have a question: Should I use the realtek generic driver or the custom one that come with my Asus (PRIME B350-PLUS) motherboard. It's a really wacky. I'm not sure when I set it to not manipulate audio, if such configuration even exists. I can choose between icons...
