Hi, It seems that the SEB client has been configured with a .seb file so that it automatically start an exam. Did you uninstall and reinstall the seb client on the Mac? Or use basic seb file to reconfigure client app ? Thanks

We are still investigating, last night another group of 90 students did a test, without Safe Exam Browser. The group was 95% macOS users, and there were no disconnections. Our network team believes that it is not the signal that is at fault, the room is equipped with 7 antennas that can accommodate 200 clients each. We also asked for more data from the SEB test students. We are trying to establish what the link might be. Regards

Hi, We have performed several tests, a common problem is noted during BYOD exams with SEB. Several students under macOS (Big Sur, Catalina, High Sierra) experience disconnection of the WiFi network, sometimes several times in a row. Windows users do not have this problem. In the same group, some macOS users may have difficulties while others do not, it is quite strange. Both (Chrome and Edge), only FireFox seems to ask with which application it should open the file.

Hi, I have just started testing the deep integration of SEB into Moodle. I notice that the manual configuration of SEB in Moodle only makes an exam functional for W10. I can also use macOS but on Mac I am able to capture the screen (to make a video). Is it possible to have BYOD exams with both Macs and PCs just by using the manual configuration, or should I use "Yes - use SEB client config" and provide a file for W10 and a file for macOS? For a student after the upgrade to version 11.2.3 it is functional.

Hi, I have some Mac users who get "Error Loading Page" when starting SEB. Some have passed the training session but when they try again they get this message. One of the students is on 11.1 Big Sur. Regards

Hi, The important point is Horizon CLOUD but without fat client, that is to say a Web interface to connect to the VMs. Watch this video at 6:20 minute (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoaesDicdbw). It uses the web client to launch the VMs. Regards

Hi, For more efficiency you should use VMware Horizon CLOUD with the ability to connect via a web browser. Hi, We had a user who encountered a forbidden process with the PhotometaEdit application on MacOs (see picture). The user had no memory of having installed this application and it does not seem to have an option to uninstall either. Thank you

Okay, let me summarize. I can provide one .seb file but a generate 2 BEK (one on mac and one on PC). Or I have to provide one .seb file for the mac and another one for the PC and I will add the 2 BEK in the exam. It seems to me that with the previous versions we didn't have this kind of problem. We will plan to install the plugin within the next few weeks.

Hi, We are in Moodle 3.8 without the integration of SEB. I have a seb exam file and the browser key is configured in the exam, for PCs under 3.1.1 everything is correct, but Mac users with version 2.2.2 are not recognized and cannot take the test. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you

Thank you for your reply. The slowness problems are on Windows as well as on macOS with Horizon HTML Access. But it's slower on macOS. It is possible that this comes from our infrastructure (Vsphere 5 and Horizon 6). I must also investigate if this comes from the display protocol used (RDS vs pcoip). We still have a lot of work to find the best solution.

Hi, We progress day by day in deployment to VDI solution with SEB. Did you have a roadmap to implement permitted process in SEB for macOS. Actualy we only use Horizon HTML Access to connect to VDI (but it's very slow at this point), we obtain better result to use VMware client Horizon but it's impossible to lunch this in SEB in macOS Thank you

Hi, I try to test VDI connection with SEB XULRunner, but i get an error. In our University we have Auto signed SSL certificat for internal use. Of course our virtuals machine are accessible via VMware Horizon HTML access but this url are not signed by trusted authority. My question it's possible to find a workaround or it's mandatory to use certificate signed by trusted authority. Thank you
