    I forced transcoding on all mp3 playbacks and the problem stopped. This must be a huge clue for somebody who understands. Help? Anyone?

    This is similar to 218. Have a look. something has changed in Chromecast and/or Chrome broswer and a few folks have reported issues with Firefox as well. I so wish someone capable of looking at this would pick this up. It's very frustrating.
