    Well, I have installed "ntpsec-ntpdate" package, restarted my device but still facing the same issue. I think I set my location and date format to US while installing, although I am from Asia (I didn't think that would be a big deal) Do you think that might cause the issue?

    I am trying to automatically sync the desktop time from internet. When I select the option "keep synchronized with internet servers", a dialogue box appears saying "NTP support is not installed". I tried to install NTP but looks like it came preinstalled. In fact, I ran "ntpq -p" and it seemed to be working. But still no luck with the time settings.
