Ok, I tried Recuva and found a .chk file from my usb drive. I recovered the .chk file to my desktop since I got a warning message to not recover it to the same place, or something along those lines. Just for shits and giggles I mounted the .chk file in VeraCrypt and lo and behold, when I opened it all of my folders were there, just most of the folders didn't have individual files in them. Just one folder, oddly. What should be my next course of action? Recover that .chk file to the usb stick and...
Volume "header" dissapeared, if I'm using that term correctly? I've had an encrypted container on a USB stick for some time now, never had any issues. I encrytped this drive about a year ago and have been using it like this problem free ever since, until now. The only thing that has changed was re-installing the operating system, so I'm guessing somehow this comes into play. Whenever I try to mount the volume, I get this: Operation Not Permitted VeraCrypt::FilesystemPath::GetType:45 Any help would be...
