Ok, the path for JAVA was wrong .... Well thanks. We should have a more detailed debug log in Help->Check LanguageTool in my opinion
Where exactly? The autostart feature of TexStudio for LanguageTool does not work. That is, if LanguageTool is not already started, TXS will not start it. Woudln't it be simpler to put that in Help -> Check LanguageTool? For the time being I made a batch file that starts LanguageTool and then TXS :)
Hi devs, How can I check which command line TexStudio is using to start LanguageTool?
Sorry Troy didn't see your last message. By autostart I mean the feature by which TXS starts LanguageTool if it is not already started. I can't get it to work
How can I check which command line TexStudio is using to start LanguageTool? The corerct command line is java -cp languagetool-server.jar org.languagetool.server.HTTPServer --port 8081
I got it to work except for the autostart. In Java I have: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_151\bin\java.exe" and in LT path: D:\data\programmi\LanguageTool39\languagetool.jar
Troy, what is your version of LanguageTool? Which guide did you follow?
Hello, Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone at home?
I use Windows. What further debug information should I provide on top of the ones that I have already provided?
Using languagetool-server.jar in the settings of TexStudio has no effect. LanguageTool continues to NOT working. On the suggestion given here, connecting to http://localhost:8081/v2/check?language=en-US&text=my+text, the returned text is: {"software":{"name":"LanguageTool","version":"3.9","buildDate":"2017-09-26 10:01","apiVersion":1,"status":""},"warnings":{"incompleteResults":false},"language":{"name":"English (US)","code":"en-US"},"matches":[{"message":"This sentence does not start with an uppercase...

Yes I did. Thanks
I have created the following macro: \dfrac{%<something%:persistent%>}{%<something1%:multiline%>} But when I select a multine text and run the macro, the text is substituted in the first placeholder and not in the second placeholder. Am I missing something?
I have created the following macro: \dfrac{%<something%:persistent%>}{%<something1%>} But the "persistent" attribute seems to have no effect. The label is still removed if I start typing in the editor after running the macro. Am I missing something?
Crashed
Again, if you clear the auxiliary files, TexStudio ignores these settings and run pdflatex->biber->pdflatex->pdflatex
I think TexStudio is putting the wrong preamble in compiling the preview
Cannot preview: process exited with errors
Big is 300kb, and yes with synctex enabled TexStudio stucks
Your suggestions seems not working. With all "Repeat conteined compilation commands" disabled, both in the "Commands" tabd and in the "Build" tab, TexStudio run pdflatex->biber->pdflatex->pdflatex

What is the difference between the "Repeat conteined compilation commands" in the "Commands" tabd and in the "Build" tab?
I understand but the entries are prepared by Zotero and not by me

It works as expected. Thank you. i am a bit surprised that at least SyncTex was so bugged up to 2017 though :)
I cannot open your link. It syas "permission denied"
synctex=0 seems to have solved the problem. Obvisouly I cannot use "go to pdf" and the like but I can live with that
It also gets stuck. I guess the project is too big. syctex=0 does not solve the problem
It's not crashing right now. I don't know what makes it crash
I attach a screenshot of Configure TexStudio -> Commands and Confiture TexStudio -> Build I already posted the contents of "lualat.bat"

It keeps crashing and when I try to recover, the pdf compile butthe mouse stays in spinning wheel mode, like it's still loading. I use an external .bat file to launch lualatex, because I need to set the TEXINPUTS environment variable. Can this be related to it? set TEXINPUTS=C:\data\tesi\software\process_person_table\stats;C:\data\tesi\software\gen_company_table\stats;C:\data\tesi\software\gen_person_table\stats; lualatex %*
