I discovered a bug in my patch (sorry, but I missed to notice the tests directory): the evaluation of limit(log(-1-%i*x),x,0,plus) incorrectly returned log(-1) in place of -%i*%pi. Luckly, the attached patch preserves test results and fix bug #3587 avoiding the need for the original one.
