Greetings from the future. This can be resolved using an attachment that edits email headers. For example "Header Tools Improved". Move the email to a local folder and edit the header. Find the part that looks like this: Content-Type: multipart/signed; protocol="application/x-pkcs7-signature"; micalg=2.16.840.1.101.3.4.2.1; and change it to this: Content-Type: multipart/signed; micalg=2.16.840.1.101.3.4.2.1; i.e. delete the protocol line Then the attachment can be deleted.
