Feature Request - UPnP/DLNA Bridge for AirPlay
Sorry... clearly I messed up the formatting... and I can't see how to edit :-(
During/After Windows Index Rebuild - Deletes Everything From Server; Ignores All Existing Outlook Calendar & Contact Entries
Oh should say I'm not sure what "milestone" means - I picked 2 since I'm on the latest version - but perhaps that's incorrect.
Check For Updates Failing since 3.7.0.0
Sorry to be clear: would be good to provide the option of mapping Outlook "Tentative" to Google "Busy", or even make this the default with an option for the current default behaviour. Perhaps there is a similar mis-match of appointment "types" with other CalDav Servers which also needs to be handled - not just Google?
Mapping Outlook Free/Busy/Tentative/etc. to GoogleCalendar Free/Busy
Sorry my bad... appologies.
Confirmed this by changing Message Class back to the default using this macro and then items were synced. http://cicorp.com/Outlook/Customize/ChangeForm.htm
Calendar Items with Non-Default Message Class Ignored During Sync
Sync HTML / RTF of Contact Notes and Calendar Entry Descritpions
Yes I'd also like this - but with the event title as "Busy" When syncing with Google Calendar, and then sharing "free/busy only" info with others via Google, unless an event is marked private, Google still shares all details of the event! :-( If OutlookCalDavSync had the option of just publishing the event title as "Busy" with the start and end times without any detail this would help make it easier to share free/busy information via Google.
Yes I'm in the same situation. When I am not in the office I use OpenVPN to connect to my Cal/Cardav server. I also get this error which means I can't have the sync on change option on - since I get too many error messages when I'm not in the office and not connected to the VPN.
Yes I'd like this too. And I can tell you that at least the Apple OS X Server Cal/CardDav server does support attachments to entries since this is a standard part of the Apple Calendar application that syncs with that server.
Ok I have one example for you that I can reproduce with the Apple OS X Server Cal/Cardav server I'm using (this isn't with Google). This calendar entry description works URL for upload https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/filing-information-returns-electronically-t4-t5-other-types-returns-overview/this-service-available-this-time-service-est-presentement-non-disponible.html C:\ Add "U" after the "C:\" causes the error. Attached vcs file - is that what you need? And there appears to be more detail of the error when I synced today - and you're right now it explicitly mentions something about the "organizer" And originally the error may have something to do with odd errors I was having with the web UI to Google Calendar last week - it wasn't letting me delete some appointments (but today this is working). Today when I sync to google these errors have go away - but now I see this same problem with the the Apple OS...
Hi Gerhard, thanks for this. Should I repost as a Feature Request? Antony
OK trying that ... will report back.
Mapping Outlook Contact Category to Apple iPhone / OS X Contact Groups - Feature Request?
One way I could also solve this problem is if it was possible to flag all the events being replicated to Google Calendar as private. Could a custom properties mapping be used for this? If so what would I need to enter? Background: I am syncing to an apple OS Sever at home - this is my "cloud" which I use to sync outlook to my Android phone and other computers at home (so my wife can see my schedule for example). Then for work I need to replicate just the free/busy information via Google Calendar....
Hi, I've just finished reading this post about free/busy - but its appears to be a slightly different situation. I am looking to replicate using a Sync Profile just the free / busy information from a selected Outlook calendar to a selected Google Calendar - i.e. I want to replicate only the start and end dates / times of each event to a google calendar that I share with others via Google so they can see when I'm busy / free. Outlook's native "Internet free / busy option" (File->Options->Calendar->Calendar...

Opps - realized I copy pasted - in this instance the server I'm replicating too is Google. Sorry for the SNAFU. 4) CalDav/Cardav Server and Version: Google Calendar
GoogleCalendar Sync Error on Create
When I said above converting the DESCRIPTION from HTML to text stopped the error - I was wrong. The error still persists even though its not text format.
Understanding Error Message "Can't parse calendar data: Invalid property: DESCRIPTION"
OK - understand - thank-you / wonderful! AND havng the name of the Appointment/Contact/Task/DistList visible without clicking would allow for quick sanity check of what happened. But understand could be a performance problem for syncs with large numbers of items. Look forward to seeing what is possible :-) Thanks again for all your help and a nice piece of vital software in my life! #LifesBetterInAPrivateDAVCloud
Sorry I didn't explain my second request. And thanks for all the detail - a little beyond me - but I get the general idea! #LoveOpenStandards Yes, I know CalDavSync doesn't know what changed inside a contact or calendar entry; I just wanted a list of which things had been changed in the SyncReport - just as items with warns or errors are reporting. So no detail at all. e.g. Sync Report for sucessfull sync items would say: outlook id, server id, <first name="" surname="" of="" contact=""> , <change...
Ok changing timeout to 10 seconds fixed the original CardDAV problem - very happy. Thank-you. And wondering if error message might be a little clearer so I could have fixed this myself? :-) (Should I ask for this as a "feature request") And thanks for response about the 2nd "TaskCancelledException" error I got - reported immediately above. Let's hope changing timeout fixes this going forward. Also... is it possible in the Sync Reports, in addition to summarizing what changes happend, to actually...

Ok changing timeout two 10 second fixed the original CardDAV problem - very happy. Thank-you. And wondering if error message might be a little clearer so I could have fixed this myself? :-) (Should I ask for this as a "feature request") Also, still curious about the 2nd "TaskCancelledException" error I got - reported immediately above. Also... is it possible in the Sync Reports, in addition to summarizing what changes happend, to actually list them? I note for errors / warnings in the Sync Reports,...
AND I have now changed to the timeout based on your post - sorry we both posted at about the same time - will check to see if this fixed CardDav and report back
And now just got the same error message "TaskCanceledException" on CalDAV sync - but unlike on CardDav, on next Sync it went away again! Attached 4 Sync Reports in Zip file created from window - hopefully autogenerated file names make sense - last sync that worked (Aug 28 15h30.22), the failure (Aug 29, 15h20:15, and then two when it worked again (Aug 29, 15h21.51 and 15h22.47) There was ~2 mins between the failure and the success - did make some changes on Outlook. Is there anyway to see which of...
Not that I know. Where might such a time out be? In the Apple Server? But there is no report of timeouts in the server log file I can see that correspond with the failures as reporteed by CalDavSync. And why would a timeout kick-in all of a sudden with 3000+ contacts (the original situation), but now be kicking in at ~2,500? Thoughts?
