ABC assist - wrong tie position

  • AnniePerson AnniePerson posted a comment on discussion General Discussion

If I scroll down a bit on https://sourceforge.net/projects/easyabc/ I find these messages Released /EasyABC/1.3.8.4/EasyABC-1.3.8.4.exe Released /EasyABC/1.3.8.4/EasyABC-1.3.8.4-source.zip They are links that start downloading EasyABC 1.3.8.4 But the big green "Download" button top left on the page still downloads 1.3.8

I was not able to reproduce that issue again. Another installation of 1.3.8.4 worked as expected. Maybe the reason was a process that was still running or the like. Nevertheless the error message from the screenshot is misleading. c:\users\jwdj\AppData did never exist on my computer and was not created by installing with admin rights. I don't understand how it got mentioned in the error message.

While updating from EasyABC 1.3.5 to 1.3.8.4 on a current Wn10 I came across these issues: Installation seems to be successful but on first launch it reports problems with access to c:\users\jwdj\AppData Uninstalling reported success, but the program folder c:\Program Files (x86)\EasyABC\ was still there, with all its contents Deleting the program folder manually and installing again with "run as administrator" set installed EasyABC and it works fine now. What should be improved: c:\users\jwdj\AppData...

I ran into the same issue and it took me a while to clarify what was wrong. The reason is that the commandline is shown not correctly in the manual, see attached screenshot. That command line worked fine for me in a batch file on Win10: jpdfbookmarks_cli.exe %1.pdf --apply %1JPdfBookmarks.csv --encoding UTF-8 --out %1-bookmark.pdf Two additional hints also would be helpful in the manual: 1.) That jpdfbookmarks_cli*.exe --help explains the command line parameters 2.) That some page/42 is enough as...
