Dear all, This is regarding normal mode solution for CNT. I've been using fix_phonon command to get eigen values of the problem. Can anyone please help with below queries: fix 4 all phonon 1 10 10 GAMMA dynam1 sysdim 1 The problem is 1 D monoatomic chain similar to spring mass system fixed at one end. However, the dynamical matrix is changing with time. Couldn't understand this part. The generation of eigen values require phana tool. Unable to understand how to use it. Thank you. Anjali
