So I installed latest version of VC 1.26.24 on my Ubuntu 24.04.2 with latest kernel 6.14.0-27-generic (official one). I have recreated my old VC drives (created with 1.25.x) and now I was trying to copy files from backup HDD to new volume. VC volume has ext4 fs on it now. Computer has frozen 3 times on me while files were being copied... I looked into journal and there is nothing special there, that would indicate what went wrong... Does VC play well with newer kernels (like 6.14.x), should I maybe...
I also have a problem, on same area... I use Ubuntu 24.04 LTS with Unity Desktop... Wanted to open seperate ticket, but button to add tickets in SF is missing for some reason... I am posting my output: Gtk-Message: 15:18:48.896: Failed to load module "xapp-gtk3-module" (taskcoach.py:1595146): Gtk-WARNING **: 15:18:48.905: GTK+ module /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gtk-2.0/modules/libgail.so cannot be loaded. I don't have True Crypt volume. I have volume that was created in 1.25.4. I had True Crypt volume, and I converted that one, so that one is fixed... Problem are images created with 1.25.4. An image of that I have send upstairs. And I will do it again.
Any idea why 1.25.4 created volume doesn't work with newest version... If you remove some functionality you should do it so that it is backwards compatible or at least convertible... So what do I need to do to make my disk-images compatible with new version... I have no problem converting them (like I had to do for true-crypt image), but question is will this fix the problem... When I was on newer version of TC I converted one of images (changed something, similar like I did for true-crypt) but image...
Hi ! I am using version 3.4 of this library and it is working great, but lately I started to using with one of forum (I am parsing content from there while I am parsing it, it produces OutOfMemory error. Exception in thread "main" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Requested array size exceeds VM limit at java.base/java.util.Arrays.copyOf(Arrays.java:3745) at java.base/java.lang.AbstractStringBuilder.ensureCapacityInternal(AbstractStringBuilder.java:172) at java.base/java.lang.AbstractStringBuilder.append(AbstractStringBuilder.java:748)...
Since my volumes didn't work I downgraded back to 1.25.4 (sorry my mistake with version number I always used just this one, installed from veracrypt-1.25.4-Ubuntu-20.04-amd64.deb).
I am not on windows platform, I am on Linux. Like I said, I have 2 volumes: 1. Normal -> created on VeraCrypt (not sure which version, but it worked on 1.24.4) - attached file from before 2. True-Crypt -> before upgrade of VC, I converted this one to VC version) So after upgrade: 2. worked and 1. didn't work Attaching proof that 1. is real VC image
HI ! So I upgraded from 1.24.4 to 1.26.14. I have two encrypted volumes. One was true-crypt, so I converted it beforehand, the other was standard veracrypt so I did nothing. After upgrade, I could load the one that I converted, but I couldn't load the normal veracrypt one. Because of that I donwgraded to older version and now I can load both... I checked my "normal" volume, and it has nothing that was "discontinued" in it. I am running on Linux. Attached is the picture of all the values of volume....
While it look like that adding of this meter wouldn't be such a problem, there hasn't any work been done on GGC for last 7 or so years and getting project up and running would be difficult at the moment and I am not sure if I will have time to do it. Please contact me directly on my email and we can talk and see what can be done: andy.rozman@gmail.com I had plans for moving the project to github in near future and do some changes on GGC, but my RL (real life) intervened.
We don't have any restaurant-related data dependencies. This is a diabetes application. And if you follow instructions you should be able to build it. Theoretically there is ggc-support folder and all dependencies are there... We switched to git now (have to make SVN RO) so you would need to get data from git. I plan to rehaul the whole project in next few months, so that we will use standard depenencies (and version of Java will be increased to Java 1.8), so that build will be possible without any special changes... Till now project supported Java 1.5, which required us to port several libraries to old versions... You can disable building of doctors...
