Running latest version of AHRL for a few days, was working well. Without warning on re-boot, after choosing AHRL, a blank screen, several tries. Finally tried 'Advanced Options' Recovery Mode, went through that process, then system booted fine. After leaving system running for a bit, screen freeze, only mouse cursor will move. Re-boot and same thing happens. A Kubuntu 22.04 system on the same drive never has a problem. Any ideas out there??
Hi, It's a issue I have to keep a watch on I suppose. Often I do other things online, I might watch a video, I might listen to music.If I'm listening to the rig at the same time, and I often do, the rig could key if I am not paying attention and don't change the sound card, fromthe interface for the rig, to the computer system sound card. I suppose I could turn off the transmitter too, to keep it from engaging. If Iremember to do it, that's the real issue for me. Perhaps someone will come up with...
Just installed Andy's Ham Radio Linux. Running well, getting used to it, but have a sound card issue. Computer has two sound cards, a usb sound card to run the sound in and out of the rig for digi modes, the other is for regular sound, as in watching videos, etc. In the tray I can choose which card to use. But if I leave it set to the usb card, and watch a video, the sound activates the VOX as well as computer speakers and sends the audio out over the air, even if the VOX is turned off. I can stop...
