Hi Maxim, I noticed that you bundled the SACD Decoder 1.5.10 with the new DSD Processor which has to be used in Foobar's DSP Manager. Is this correct?

Thank you for the quick response.

Thank you for the reaction. The interim version (0.2.3-1) solved the problem. The freeze is over and the context menu shows immediately now.

Thanks for your reply. No I did not test it in x86. I have only Foobar2000 V2.1 x64 installed at the moment. But on my side it is easy to reproduce. It only happens with Foo DSD Converter installed and right clicking on a large folder in the Album List It works fine when right clicking in a playlist. It seems that Foo DSD Converter is sequentally going trough all the selected tracks/records in the Album List before the context menu is shown, freezing Foobar in the process. The lenght of the freeze...

Unfortunately yes. Still the same problem in Foobar2000 V2.1 64 bit.

Foo DSD Converter Freezes Foobar2000 V2

I forgot to mention that this happens with DSD Transcoder 1.2.0. The older DSD Transcoder does not have that behaviour. I think it has something to do with your added support for Dark Mode.

DSD Transcoder gives an error in Foobar2000 1.6.13

  • Andy Lu Andy Lu posted a comment on ticket #172

I can confirm that. When upsampling to DSD256 or higher the sounds starts to dropout. This happens in the 64 bit version with newest foo_out_asio+dsd + dsd Transcoder). Have not tested it with the FB2K v2 32 bit version. On my Foobar2000 v 1.6 (with older foo_out_asio+dsd and older DSD processor) everything runs fine even when upsampling to DSD512.

Hi, I Just made an account too. I posted about the popping sounds as Anonymous above. In F2K 32 bits and FB2K 64 bits I get popping sounds and stutter when upsampling to DSD via foo_out_asio+dsd. I am connected to a Topping D90 DAC via USB. If I use WASAPI (default output exclusive in FB2k) I do not have that problem. Again this problem exists in the 32 bit version and the 64 bit version.
