It would be good if the previous zoom level could be remembered. I usually use 2x and would be convenient not to have to set it each time. The exposure compensation setting is retained, which I would prefer to reset to 0 when re-opening the app. Maybe in the settings there could be options for which values are persistent.

The zoom currently has 2 decimal places of precision, which is much too fine for most needs. Maybe an option in the settings to limit it to one decimal place, would make it easier to select whole numbers of zoom. Another idea, is an option for 'detents' on the zoom slider, to snap to nearest whole value (and also 0.5) if within 0.2.

A few times I have had the exposure compensation wrong, left over from a previous use. It would be useful to indicate that the exposure compensation is set to a non-zero value, either by text under the ISO setting, or by leaving the exposure compensation icon in highlighted in red. Also it would be useful resetting exposure compensation to zero after app is put into background or by double tapping the exposure compensation icon.
