    Is there a way to set, for example, the right margin to 130 to all files in a specific directory? For example, I want to set the right margin to 130 whenever I edit a file in $HOME/bin. Thanks!

    I have a UNIX shell account on PANIX. I use the JOE editor. They offer 3 versions of JOE that I can use. I recently switched from JOE 3.3 to 4.1 and now I am having an issue with setting the right margin (-rmargin xx) on specific file types. I have the following entries in my $HOME/.joerc file that work fine in 3.3 but they do not work in 4.1: *.html -rmargin 250 *mutt_aliases -rmargin 250 *.aliases -rmargin 120 *.mutt -rmargin 80 In 4.1, every file I edit, has the right margin set to 80.     I have merged two MP4 files together using the settings seen in the attached screenshot. Both MP4 files are encoded the same, only the content is different between them. The merging process completed normally however when I try and open the merged MP4 file in VLC, it takes much longer to open than a similarly sized MP4 file and also if I use MediaInfo to view the output file, it also takes a long time to load. I don't have this issue when opening up other large MP4 files in either VLC or MediaInfo....
