Hi Marte, Right I've checked my notes and I used ar to make the changes to the archive. I worked in a tmp directory hence the ../ ar p ../opensong_3.4.8-1_amd64.deb control.tar.xz |tar -xJ xed control tar -cJf control.tar.xz *[!z] cp ../opensong_3.4.8-1_amd64.deb ../opensong_3.4.8-1~depfix_amd64.deb ar r ../opensong_3.4.8-1~depfix_amd64.deb control.tar.xz This is almost certainly not the best method but it works, check you understand before running the commands! Cheers, Alistair
Thanks for that, all looks good and appears to be working fine so I think we are sorted. Cheers,
Ooops, failed to log in before posting, subscribing here.
I'm afraid I also subsequently switched to KeepassXC, currently using the PPA by phoerious.
For reference in case anyone else gets here first. See https://sourceforge.net/p/keepass/discussion/329220/thread/5a14d949/ "To get back the two minimization options, run KeePass.exe with the following parameter: -wa-disable:1418" Startup, prompt for password and then minimise is working for me on Mint 19 Cinnamon, (Mono 4.6.2). A new convert to a password manager, thanks.
