Hi Edo, These 2 properties seems useful: node.externalObject.properties node.externalObject.class.methods I will use them. It works with the zoom property, I've set it to 0.1 node.externalObject.zoom = 0.1 Thanks Edo! Also that mind map app as another feature called overview, which is a small mini map of the larger map and you move a square (the screen) over that overview to move the map to regions. The overview looks like this: https://ibb.co/rvzG5jd

Also if this tree view could be searched and filtered using a text box and a filter button and a search button on the same panel, it would be great for finding nodes quickly.

Hi, It seems it could be useful to be able to hide siblings. Is this already possible? For example if you have Book -- Chapter1 -- Chapter2 -- Chapter3 -- Chapter 4 etc And have many books like these but only 1 chapter is expanded by book, it would make a lot of closed Chapter nodes for nothing. If we could only see the nodes expanded and the closed one if we could make them invisible somehow.. Any ideas? Thanks.

I had again the issue just now. I needed to restart Freeplane. I checked if it was not a USB issue so I tried to type with the laptop's keyboard but it was the same, no key seemed to respond. I had to save the maps using file menu and close Freeplane. I have version 1.9.0. The issue does seem to happen much less frequently. Before it was every day. Now it's been many days since I installed 1.9.0.

Ok I understand better how the new markdown editing works. So basically the edit in dialog is the markdown editor and the markdown formatted is displayed in the core, details or note. I do have some recommendation though: Is it possible that when the markdown editor (dialog) opens, that the focus be on the textbox do that one doesn't have to click the window. Maybe it is already there, but when I type the text is not displaying and if then after clicking the textbox, the "invisible text" I just typed...

Dimitry, Sorry it is not a bug maybe, it is because I had links in the text and long test strings with no spaces. Node text is wrapped according to the node max width only if there are spaces in the text, the next word will appear on the next line. But without spaces a super long word will just display on the same line whatever the max node with is set to. Alexandre

I add the issue too. I was restarting Freeplane 1 or 2 times a day. With version 1.9.0 I don't have the issue anymore. I don't know if the issue was with JAVA or Freeplane but both are updated with 1.9.0.

So I did a screenshot and sent it.
