Hi, I've just installed PasswordSafe on a new Windows 11 laptop. Everything works except the Password subset pop-up no longer remembers its last position. It always pops-up in the middle of the screen, not where I last dragged it to. Worked fine on my last (Windows 10) laptop. I'm running 3.70.01 Any ideas?

It's simpler just to click on the Email address. wait for Gmail to open and then copy the address from the Email app. But we really shouldn't have to do that!

Could the option to copy Email address or URL be added to the long-press menus? At the moment, long-press on an entry has the option to copy User-name or password. I'd like Email and URL to be added to this list (if they're not blank). Also, when viewing an entry, a long-press on the same fields should give a copy option. At the moment you can only go to the URL or compose a new Email, not copy the contents. Thanks.

The point I wanted to make is that you have to reopen the pwsafe3 file to see the changes. i.e. if you have passwordsafe open on your PC and phone at the same time and you make a change on your PC, you won't see the change on your phone until you close/open the new pwsafe3 file. Dropsync is an app for Android/iPhone, it's not needed on Windows as the function is built into Dropbox itself.

Not sure I understand the question. If I update pwsafe on my PC, dropbox uploads it to the 'cloud' Dropsync then downloads a copy to my phone. Next time I run pwsafe on my phone and unlock the vault, it sees the new database. The reverse also works, If I update pwsafe on my phone, Dropsync then updates the 'cloud' version and windows downloads an updated copy. But you still have to close/unlock the vault to see the new version.

I'm guessing so, but it will keep all files in a folder (or list of folders) in sync. You can specify upload/download/or two-way syncing.

There's a couple of very useful apps.. DropSync - for syncing Dropbox Autosync - similar for GoogleDrive I use them to keep the pwsafe vault updated on my phone and it's always worked flawlessly.

Hi there, I've just seen that this option is under development. Is it really a good idea in terms of security? Everything you need to login to a system would be stored in a single place. It seems to destroy the whole concept of 2FA.

On the main toolbar there's a 'Send Email' button available. Could there also be a 'Copy Email address to clipboard' button?

I think there was a deliberate decision not to include any network connectivity code in passwordsafe as a security measure. That's also the reason it doesn't check for new versions.

Hi there, I was wondering about this too, I got the "Hi! You have an update available." Email from sourceforge this morning but it had no hashes present. I suspect there's another mailing list that you're refering to. If so, could you point me at it? Thanks.
